New Work in Familiar Places

Back again for the first time. In the last year C&VE has helped bring new life to old spaces.

In the midst of the busiest transit hub in North America—New York’s Penn Station—Amtrak has recently revamped its concourse with new public information display system (PIDS) monitors. The new system includes brand new gate signs designed by C&VE. This isn’t our first time designing for Penn Station and it probably won’t be our last.

Head about 30 miles east to Garden City in Long Island, and see our second project for Nassau Community College. Administrative offices that had been scattered across campus have been merged into one central location, the Student Services Center. C&VE helped create a wayfinding and identity program for the new space. The graphics system complements the signage at the Life Sciences building, which C&VE designed in 2013.
