This delightful new 10-acre park sits on the banks of the Harlem River, in the heart of the South Bronx. Site of the former Bronx Terminal Market, this run-down industrial area needed a lift. Our interpretive panels tell the history of the former Bronx Terminal Market, and our maps guide and direct park-goers to everything they might need.

Simplicity and ease of maintenance inspired the minimalist forms that allow both clarity and ultimate accessibility. The forms are also being used in Heritage Field, located just a stones throw away on the site of the original Yankee Stadium.
