Environmental Graphic Designer
Our collaborative NYC studio is looking for its newest member. We need a mid-level environmental graphic designer with 3–5 years experience and the essential experience and skills required for EGD.
You’ll need to be familiar with the design of signage and wayfinding systems (programming, documentation, materials, and processes from concept to close-out). Experience with retail, transportation, and bi-lingual signage projects a definite plus. You should be able to work in both imperial and metric systems. And be willing and able to travel.
We’re a Mac-based office, and you’ll need to be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as MS Office, FileMaker Pro, PowerPoint, and Keynote; experience with SketchUp or other rendering software is a big plus. Double-plus for experience in responding to RFPs. Please be an excellent communicator with terrific speaking and writing skills, and please have a four-year degree in the design profession.
We offer: an open and collaborative working environment where everyone has a voice and the opportunity to contribute, individual initiative is prized, and responsibility and respect are a given. We also offer all the coffee you can drink, and while we are dead-serious about the work, we don’t feel the same about ourselves; a relaxed demeanor and a sense of humor are absolute musts.
Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience, as well as the value you bring to the studio. Compensation package includes health care benefits, profit sharing, and generous PTO.
A quick note: If you’re not a US citizen or permanent resident, you must have authorization to work in the US.
How To Apply
